Transcript
4:12…how has your blood pressure been since you started the ramipril? At home it is mostly around 140 over 90, and I sometimes have a headache in the morning. Any chest pain or shortness of breath? No, none of that. Your blood pressure today is 142 over 88, pulse 76. Heart and lungs sound normal. We will increase the ramipril to 5 milligrams, and you keep checking your blood pressure at home. I will see you in four weeks, bring your blood pressure diary…

Who it is for
For practices, polyclinics and dental clinics
Family medicine
Less typing between patients. Dictate the findings, treatment and advice, and MedGlas puts them into a note.
Specialist practices and polyclinics
Reports and opinions in the structure your specialty already uses, with a separate template for each type of visit.
Dental clinics
Treating patients from abroad? MedGlas records and writes in Croatian, English, German, Italian and six more languages.
Security
Built for sensitive data
We keep patient data briefly and encrypted. To produce the transcript and draft note, MedGlas briefly processes the content on its servers and at its speech-recognition and note-drafting subprocessors. That is why we do not describe it as a zero-knowledge system.
Privacy policyAES-256 encryption at rest
The database with transcripts and notes is encrypted with AES-256 keys managed by AWS KMS, in the Frankfurt region in the EU.
Encrypted in transit
All traffic between your browser and MedGlas goes over HTTPS (TLS).
Recordings encrypted on your device
If an upload fails, the recording waits on your device, encrypted with an AES-256 key that is created in your browser and never leaves it. It is deleted once sent, at sign-out or after 24 hours at the latest.
Deleted after 24 hours
Audio is not kept after transcription. Transcripts and notes are permanently deleted 24 hours after a record is opened, and database backups are kept for at most one day.

FAQ
Questions about MedGlas
What is MedGlas?
MedGlas is an AI medical scribe. You record a dictation or a consultation, and MedGlas produces a transcript and a draft clinical note that the doctor reviews and edits before it goes into the medical record.
Does MedGlas work in Croatian?
Yes, Croatian is its first language. MedGlas recognises Croatian speech, including medical terms, drug names and numbers, and writes notes in Croatian in the structure set by your template.
Which other languages does MedGlas support?
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese and Slovenian. The recording is transcribed, and the note written, in the language you choose in the app.
Who builds MedGlas?
MedGlas is built by CliniAtlas, a spin-off of the University of Split School of Medicine run by doctors and AI researchers.
How can I try MedGlas?
Sign in with Google at medglas.net. New users get 3 free recordings, with no card and no contract.
How much does MedGlas cost?
Individual doctors can subscribe to MedGlas Starter for €19 a month, with up to 30 hours of recordings and note drafts, cancel anytime. Practices, polyclinics and clinics license team access by agreement: hello@cliniatlas.com.
Where is data processed, and are recordings kept?
The app and database run in AWS Frankfurt, in the European Union, and note drafts are generated by a language model in EU regions. Audio recordings are not kept after transcription. Transcripts and notes are deleted automatically 24 hours after a record is opened, and you can delete them sooner. If an upload fails, the recording waits encrypted on your device until it is sent, for 24 hours at most.
How does MedGlas protect data?
All traffic goes over HTTPS, and the database with transcripts and notes is encrypted with AES-256 keys (AWS KMS) in Frankfurt. Recordings waiting to be sent are encrypted on your device with an AES-256 key that never leaves the browser. Transcripts and notes are deleted after 24 hours. To produce the transcript and note, MedGlas briefly processes the content on its servers and at its subprocessors, so it is not a zero-knowledge system.
Does MedGlas replace the doctor?
No. MedGlas prepares a draft, and the doctor checks, corrects and approves every note before it goes into the official record. The doctor remains responsible for its content.
Which devices does it run on?
In the web browser (Chrome or Safari) on phone and computer, with nothing to install. You can record on your phone and finish the note on your computer.
